Study from Mimecast Finds that Security and Integration Concerns are not Preventing Enterprises' Cloud Computing Adoption London - February 4, 2010 - Mimecast®, a holistic email management company offering SaaS-based email archiving, continuity, security and policy control, today announced the results of its Cloud Computing Adoption Survey, which examined the perception and adoption of cloud computing solutions among 565 respondents responsible for managing their organization's IT operations and budget across the U.S. and Canada in the Fall of 2009. Data from the recently completed online survey highlights the complex, often contrasting, thought process of IT decision makers regarding cloud computing. 2012 Future of Cloud Computing Survey Exposes Hottest Trends in Cloud

North Bridge Venture Partners has announced the results of its second annual Future of Cloud Computing Survey. Supported by 39 industry collaborators spanning established leaders, emerging, fast-growth companies, and startups – the 2012 survey captures current industry perceptions, sentiments and emerging trends in cloud computing. This year’s collaborators include companies such as Amazon Web Services, Rackspace, Eucalyptus, and Glasshouse. A total of 785 respondents spanning industry experts, users and vendors participated in the survey. Mimecast brings in new senior European channel team to drive growth

Mimecast is a Challenger in Gartner’s Enterprise Information Archiving Magic Quadrant

Mimecast has been recognized by Gartner as a ‘Challenger’ in this year’s Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Information Archiving*. Mimecast was a new entrant to the Magic Quadrant last year, and has since invested significantly in product innovation and seen strong customer adoption of its archive solutions. A Disturbance in the Force

The Internet is quietly being replumbed. That shouldn't surprise anyone involved with it; the Internet is always being replumbed. But you might be more surprised to learn that the next few years will bring an unusual burst of changes in that plumbing, some with great potential consequences for anyone who relies on the Net. By "plumbing," I of course refer to the protocols and software that make the core features of the Internet work. These have been evolving steadily since 1969, but I don't think any period since the early 1980s has seen as many changes as we'll see over the next few years. Like anything new, these changes will bring both threats and opportunities - but in this case, probably more threats than opportunities.
