Steve McKenzie, Former Executive at Mimecast, Named VP of Sales

CAMBRIDGE, Mass., Sept. 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- InsightSquared, a leading provider of business analytics software, announced today that Steve McKenzie, a former sales and marketing executive at Mimecast, has joined InsightSquared as the Vice President of Sales. In addition not one, but two new members, Kipp Bodnar, Vice President of Marketing at HubSpot, and Bill Brown, CIO at Veracode, have joined InsightSquared's Board of Advisors.  The new leadership and advisory of these proven experts signifies InsightSquared's continued commitment to growth and market-leadership in the SaaS model and the SMB business analytics market.

Before joining InsightSquared, McKenzie spent six and a half years at enterprise cloud provider Mimecast. McKenzie was a key part of the leadership team that helped grow Mimecast from around $5M to more than $100M in revenues.  During his tenure, McKenzie led European sales, North American marketing and, in his last role, served as VP of Strategic Accounts. Prior to Mimecast, McKenzie co-founded Boo! Surprising Media Solutions, a Cape Town-based marketing firm.

Bill Brown has over 25 years of IT management experience. In 2010, he was recognized as a Computerworld Premier 100 IT Leader, an award that recognizes outstanding technology professionals who have successfully aligned technology with overall business goals to advance their company's critical IT initiatives. Prior to joining Veracode, Brown served as CIO of Avid and held several senior leadership positions at Iron Mountain, including CIO. He was also a co-founder and executive vice president of PCs Compleat, a PC retailer and distributor acquired by CompUSA.
